This is a rather unusual request from Utopia Temple, but it gives a rare opportunity to anonymous developers to join our team. If this sounds interesting to you, please keep reading.
We are interested in developing the next generation of our All-in-One formatter. Unfortunately, Aviad, who wrote the current version, is too busy with real-life, and asked to be replaced with his responsibilities to Utopia Temple.
While the current version is written in C++, we'd like the new one to be in PHP, so this is actually a call for experienced PHP programmers (2 years experience required in PHP, 5 years in general programming).
We are not simply interested in the first-time programming, but you will have to fully support your product.
This is only a short list of requirements, but if you meet all of them so far, feel free to contact me for more personal information. |

Posts: 4 ( 10-Apr-2003 11:53 am) Report | Actually, doing an All-in-One formatter in PHP is A LOT easier than doing it in C++ thanks to PHP's very good regualar expression support. I have only done some programming for fun but even I think this would be quite an easy task for anybody that knows about regual expressions. Quite a bit much to demand 2 years of PHP and 5 of general programming. Maybe one year of hobbyist PHP-programming is more realistic and more probable to give you a die-hard utopia fan that won't quit the game, and thereby the formatter... That's just my opinion though, you might have other things in mind than just the formatter, what do I know... | Ketam

and I agree with ghazban on the first point too, PHP is much easier than C++.
anyways, I think I'll apply to this. =) | |
